EL SUECO Albillo
The Dalecarlia horse, a traditional Swedish wooden toy usually given to children, illustrates the labels of the El Sueco line.
The birth of Íñigo López de la Osa in Sweden inspired this elegant label.
These grapes do not come from single-variety Albillo Mayor vineyards, but are taken from old vines, where our ancestors planted certain white-grape local varieties to eat as fruit. They are interspersed amongst the others in mainly red-grape vineyards, making splashes of golden colour at the time of the harvest, in emblematic vineyards at Hontoria de Valdearados.
The vineyards are located on sunny slopes with loamy texture, limestone and pebbles, allowing a better ripening of the fruit and offering optimal soil permeability, ensuring the health of the grape during the whole growth cycle.
